My very femme wife has a habit of “borrowing” my less femme clothing — and not giving it back.

First it was my shoes.
Then my sweatshirts.
Then my t-shirts.

Somewhere along the way, she took my heart too… and eventually, my favorite hat — a well-worn blue trucker with an embroidered patch from a workwear brand I loved. It disappeared the way good things sometimes do — slowly, and then all at once.

She replaced it for my birthday that November. And in an effort to protect the new one, I made her a hat of her own — something in my style, but unmistakably hers. Something meant to be worn, claimed, and kept.

That small act became the beginning of Snail Trail Adventure Co.
